  1. It seems like the beginning of a great lyrical ballad but I am glad it has ended where it did. I love the micro poem for its overwhelming beauty and imagery. You have managed to pack so much within those few lines: the majestic owl and its graceful yet fatal descent, the cool rock by the waterfall where the (olive green) frog appears to catch a moment of the sun.

    1. Thank you, Uma.
      It was a big frog – blackish green and was born in our pond. It lived there for about a year along with a little frog that was bright green with a deep ribbit.
